Annapurna base camp trek takes you through many typical Gurung villages in Landruk, Ghandruk, and Chhomorung. It offers great views of Mt. Himchuli, Annapurna South and the beauty of the region: Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna 1st and many others. We have designed an itinerary for regular trekkers but we can make it a little longer or shorter according to our clients' interest, their time and physical fitness as well. The trek starts from Pokhara.

Trip Details

Day: 01. Kathmandu to Pokhara: Drive or fly to beautiful Pokhara, 200 km. west of Kathmandu and an overnight at hotel. Day: 02.. Pokhara to Tikhedhunga: (1577m) This is approx. 50 Kms drive Birethanti and the trek continues 5hrs. to Tikhedhunga. Over night at local tea-house. Day: 03. Tirkhedhunga to Ghorepani: (2855m) We start our next adventure to Ghorepani. Trek about 6hrs. and over night at the local tea-house. Day: 04. Ghorepani to Tadapani: (2657m) Early morning visit to Poonhill for sunrise and a stunning view of the beautiful himalayan range and then a 5 hrs trek to Tadapani. Overnight at local tea-house. Day: 05. Tadapani to Chhomrong (1989m.): The trail rises and falls through the pleasant Rhododendrun forest and we arrive at Chhomrong in about 5 hours. Overnight at local tea-house. Day: 06. Chhomrong to Himalaya (2850m.): Trek continues 6 hours to the Himalayas all the way walk through bamboo jungles, overnight at local Lodge. Day: 07. Himalaya to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m.): Ttrek about 4 to 5 hours and stop for acclimatize. Overnight at local tea-house. Day: 08. Explore Annapurna Base Camp / Rest day. Day: 09. A.B.C. to Bamboo (1937m.): Same route back to Bamboo. Overnight stay at local lodge. Day: 10. Bamboo to Chhomrong Same route back to Chhomrong. Overnight stay at local lodge. Day: 11. Chhomrong to Landruk: (1640m.): On the way visit hot-spring at Jhinudanda. And trek continue about 6 hours to Landruk. Overnight at Local lodge. Day: 12. Landruk to Dhampus: (1770m.) Trek about 5 hours, passing through the villages. Overnight at local lodge. Day: 13. Dhampus to Pokhara: Trek about 3 hours down to Dhampus Phedi and drive 30 minute by car to Pokhara Day: 14. Pokhara to Katmandu: Drive back to Katmandu either flights or tourist coach.
