Chitwan National Park

The Chitwan national park is one of the finest National parks in Asia, which lies in the lowlands of south-central Nepal, 165kms from Kathmandu. It is also listed in the world heritage site since 1984. It is renowned for its variety of wildlife and vegetation. The park offers a variety of flora and fauna, unique to the area along with some of the world's most exotic wildlife and vegetation. It is a dense tropical / subtropical forest and is the home to forty three species of mammals where the famous elusive Royal Bengal tigers prowl and endangered great one-horned rhinoceroses roam. Other animals like leopards, wild elephants, variety of deer, bears, four horned antelopes, porcupines, monkey, langurs, pythons, gigantic dolphins, two species of crocodiles- the vegetarion gharials and flesh eating mardh muggers - are also found here. For the bird watching and nature lover, it is a paradise with over 450 species of exotic birds, many of which are migratory, making Chitwan and its 932 square kms their home. The Chitwan national park offers great scope for adventure and exploration.

Note: There are hotels located inside and outside the park. Inside the atmosphere is very peaceful, with more possibility to see wildlife. The hotels outside the park are cheaper than those inside.

 
How to get to Chitwan national parks?
Either just 20 minutes scheduled flight from Kathmandu to Bharatpur or 4 to 5 hours drive from Kathmandu or Pokhara or perhaps after an exiting white-water rafting holiday.

Regular trip 2 nights 3 days.
Day O1:- Either fly or drive to Camp site around 12:00 noon. Welcome drink and Orientation. Freshen up tea/coffee/cold drinks or lunch privided depending on the time of your arrival.

- Visit to the Sauraha Museum, village walk, visit to Elephant Breeding Center.

Day 02:- After breakfast, Canoeing, Deep Jungle Walk, elephant riding or jeep driving depending on the season. There is a cultural program in the evening.

Day 03:- Set breakfast, Bird watching trip. After a farewell drink leave by car/plane or bus to your onward destination. Tariff: US $ 115 each people.

The cost excludes:- Airfare, private transportation, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and mineral water and personal items such as toiletries.
