 Ttip Itinerary
Day 01: On arrival at Bagdogra Airport from Delhi or Calcutta, our Airport Representative
welcomes you and offers transfer to Gangtok. If you are coming from Kathmandu via
Bhadrapur Airport, our Airport Representative will receive you here and offer transfer to the
Indo-Nepal Border and from there to Gangtok. Overnight Hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in and around Gangtok. On this day you will visit Do-Drul Chorten,
Research Institute of Tibetology, Enchey Monastery, Ganesh Tok (View Point), Saramsa
Garden and Rumtek Monastery (the seat of 17th Karmapa of Kagyu order.
Day 03: Day trip to Tsong Lake situated at an altitude of 12,210ft. In Spring season the
area will be decorated with rhododendron, primulars, poppies and irises. Free time in the
evening for visiting the market place.
Day 04: Drive from Gangtok to Yoksum (1970m) via Rabongla.
Day 05: Trek Yoksum - Tshoka(2745m).
Day 06: Trek Tshoka - Dzongri (4200).
Day 07: Rest day at Dzongri. Excursion trip to Laxmi Pokhara (4500m.).
Day 08: Trek Dzongri - Thangsing (3800m).
Day 09: Trek Thangsing - Samiti Pokhari [Lake] (4060m.)
Day 10: Trek Samiti Pokhari - Goeche La (4940m) - Thangsing
Day 11: Trek Thangsing - Lam Pokhari -Thangsing.
Day 12: Trek Thangsing - Tshoka.
Day 13: Trek Tshoka - Yoksum.
Day 14: Drive from Yoksum - Kalimpong via Jorethang.
Day 15: Drive from Kalimpong to Siliguri and then to Bagdogra for onward flight or drive to the
border of Nepal. |
