Trip Overview

We created this itinerary to provide a very different choice to our respected guests. In this trek we will cross three different high passes Rinjo-La (5340m. ), Cho-la (5368m.) and Kongma-La (5535m.) We wanted to create the maximum opportunities to experience the wonders of this region, making it a paradise holiday you will never forget. Each day you will see different scenery including spectacular mountain views. You will visit ancient monasteries and spritual of Sherpa people in Thame with their hidden culture and traditions. The trek also takes you very close to the border with Tibet. Probably the best adventure experience treks in the Everest..

Trip Details

Day 01: Kathamndu to Lukla (2827m) Phakding (2657m.)
35 minutes, pleasant flight by small twin otter to Lukla, then walk to Phakding for approximately 3 hrs.

Day 02: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m.) Trek about 5 to 6hrs.
Trek about 5 hours to Namche. The trail ascends gradually toward Jorsale crossing few suspension bridge over Dudh Kosi River.

Day 03: Namche Bazar Rest
Take a rest day at Namche bazaar to acclimatize and explore the area by hiking around.

Day 04: Namche to Thame (3800m.) Trek about 4 to 5 hrs.
Along the way we visit afew different monasteries and enjoy an encounter with the oldest Sherpa village in the region.

Day 05: Thame to Langden (4500m) Trek about 6 to 7 hrs.
Today we ascend to Langden, very close to the restricted border area with Tibet. As there are no tea- houses than provide the packed lunch and sufficient drinking water.

Day 06: Langden to Gokyo Lake (4750m). Trek about 6 to 7 hrs.
This is also an adventure day across the first high pass Renjo La (5340m.) A lunch box and sufficient drinking water are provided.

Day 07: Rest day at Gokyo.
Rest day to explore the area and visit Gokyo Ri (5463 m.) for the best view of the region.

Day 08: Gokyo to Cho La pass phedi (4800m.) Trek about 3 to 4hrs We cross the Ngzumpa glacier, where it is difficult to find the right track.

Day 09: Cho La phedi to Dzongla (4860m.) Trek about 6 to 7 hours
We start very early ascending steeply on loose moraine. As we reach the summit top of Chola pass (5368m), we traverse around a large snow field before descending steeply on loose rocks to the Yak pasture at Dzongla.

Day 10: Dzongla to Labuche (4932m.) Trek about 4 to 5 hrs
Today we walk along the ridge of the mountains with spectacular views all the way to Labuche.

Day 11: Labuche to Gorakshep (5180m.) Trek about 4 to 5 hrs.
We explore Kalapatthar (5545m) and see spectacular sunset views the mountain ranges.

Day 12: Gorakshep to Labuche. Trek about 6 to 7 hrs.
Early morning visit to Everest Base Camp (5300m.) before trekking back to Labuche.

Day 13: Labuche to Chhukung (4743m). Trek about 7 to 8 hrs.
This is the last hardest day to cross the third high pass of Kongma La (5535m.)

Day 14: Chhukung to Dingboche (4350m.) trek about 2 to 3 hrs.
On this day either you go for Chhukung Ri or descend all the way through a less well known trail to Dingboche.

Day 15: Dingboche to Tyangboche (3860m.)
A pleasant walk returning along the same trail with a possible path crossing between trekkers and yaks. Visit the famous Tyangboche monastery for the best view of Ama-dablam (beauty of the region)

Day 16: Tyangboche to Monjo (2790m.) trek about 5 to 6 hrs. A pleasant Trek descends all the way to Monjo via Namche Bazaar through the same trail and scenery.

Day 17: Phakding to (Lukla 2840m.)
This is the only day that the trekkers do a re-trek on this trip with the same views as we descend to Lukla.

Day 18: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight.
A pleasant flight by small twin otter, to see many beautiful high mountains and villages with an exquisite taste of the Himalayan range.
