Helambu lies to the north of Kathmandu, which takes you through some of the most stunning scenery on the earth. The region offers a cultural tour to the trekkers. The people that live in this area are predominantly Sherpas. You can also see many monastries along the way but the views of the mountains may be obscure except during the start and the end of the trek. The trek to this area starts from Sundarijal.

Day: 01. Kathmandu to Chisapani (1940m) One and half hour drive to sundarijal and trek about 5 hours to Chisapani Day: 02.. Chisapani to Gulbhangyang (2130m) Trek about 6 hours to descends and ascends Day: 03. Gulbhangyang to Tharepati (3,000m) Trek about 6 hours to get there. Day: 04. Tharepati to Tarkegyang (2,740m) Terk about 7 hours to get the place. Day: 05. Tarkegyang to Shemathang (2,590m) Trek about 5 to 6 hours. Day: 06.Shemathang to Melamchipul Bazar (870m) All the way trek descends 5 hours to get there. Day: 07. Melamchipul Bazar to Kathmandu Either u can drive by bus or private transport.
