The indigenous people's trail presents a unique opportunity for an intimate exploration of one of the most culturally diverse areas of Nepal. The majestic Himalayan ranges poses as the perfect backdrop for the trail and Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Everest, Kanchenjunga are some of the peaks that can be seen during the course of the trail. The different indigenous communities living along this trail are Sherpa, Newar, Thami, Tamang, yolmo and Mahji. The virgin forests of Sailung, Rajveer, Augleshwori, Galba and Khandadevi offer habitat to numerous wildlife such as pheasant, deer and Longoor monkey. |
