Langtang - Helambu trek will encompass different culture and traditions as well as geography. The course from the Langtang valley to Gosaikund- Helambu is full of diverse landscapes and it is the reason why it attracts many tourists. The Langtang valley is also known as the treasure house of Alpine plants. The highest point of this trek is Gosaikunda pass 4609m.The whole valley is covered with flowers during the summer. The trek can be customized if necessary. The trek start from Dhunche, Nagarkot or Sundarijal.

Trip Details

Day: 01. Kathmandu to Dhunche: (1937m.) Drive approximately 8 hrs to Dunche with a beautiful view of the Trisuli River and surrounding forests Day: 02.. Dhunche to Syabru Village: (2387m.) A pleasant walk to Shybru Village brings us across the Langtang River, the trail then ascends for approximately 2 hrs and then a further 2 hrs to reach to Shybru Village. From here we witness a magnificent view of Mt. Ganesh Himal, Manaslu Langtang and Sisapangma of Tibet. Day: 03. Syabru Village to Lama Hotel: (2383m.) The trail descends for approximately 2hrs and then ascends for another 1hr to reach Bamboo Village. Following this we climb through Bamboo jungle to end our day at Lama hotel Day: 04. Lama Hotel to Langtang Village: (3541m.) We trek through rhododendron and pine forested areas for approximately 6 hrs. until we reach Langtang village which is biggest in the region. Day: 05. Langtang Village to Kyangjing Gompa: (3700m.) After 3 hrs. treks we arrive at Kyanging Gompa. From this point you will be surrounded by the Mountains. Day: 06. . Kyangjing Gompa to Yala Peal and back After a 3 hrs upward trek we reach Yala Peak from where panoramic views of the Langsisa Himal, Bhairab Takura, Dorje Lakpa, Yala and Lirung Glacier can be seen. Day: 07. Kyangjing Gompa to Lamahotel Route is same as previous but all the way descends. Day: 08. Lama Hotel to Syabru Gaun Route is same as previous Day: 09. . Syabru Gaun to Chandan bari: (3584m) After 5hrs. trek through Rhododendron forest, we get to Chandanbari (Shing Gompa) visit cheese factory and Monastery with the view of trans Himalayan. Day: 10. Chandanbari to Goshain Kunda: (4381m.) After two & half hour trek, we arrive at Lauribinayak from where we can see mountains and a beautiful landscape. Three hours trek continues to Goshain Kunda which is a holy place of Hindus. Day: 11. Goshain Kunda to Ghopte: (3430) This is the hardest day in terms of terrain, crossing the Goshain Kunda pass(4609m.) and all the way down to the Ghopte. Day: 12. Ghopte to Kutumsang: (2471) 5 hours trek behind the mountain through the forest and sherpa villages. Day: 13. Kutumsang to Chisapani: (2194) 5 hours trek descends all the way to Patibhangyang and one hour ascends to Chisapani, from where we could see the long range of mountain views right infront of your eyes. Day: 14. Chisapani to Nagarkot: (2119) 6 hours trek through the Shivapuri water-shed, forest and a view of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Gaurishanker, Dorjelakpa. Nagarkot is a famous place to watch sunrise and sunset. It also gives a panoramic view of 60 different Peaks. Day: 15. Nagarkot to Kathmandu Either you drive to Kathmandu or trek down to Bhaktapur Via Changu Narayan and drive a hour to Kathmandu.
