Trip Overview

This is short and absolute hiking tour from Kathmandu. It is a different taste to trek around Kathmandu valley as well as the nearest sights, best view and would be fit to any aged people. This hiking offers a rich insight into the lives, culture and religion, tradition and history of its inhabitants. During the treks you can see western mountains like Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Ganesh Himal Range, Mt. Langtang Range, Mt. Dorjeelakpa, Mt. Shisapangma, Mt. Gaurishankar and many more. In short time you can see more than 60 peaks from here and other mountains can be seen and another gain of this trekking is to reach Nagarkot which is the most popular point for viewing mountains, sunrise and sunset, beautiful landscape, river and beautiful scenery green hill. Nagarkot has got the best view tower of the valley.

 
 
Trip Details

Day 1 : Kathmandu to Sundarijal
One hour drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. Than we start the hike through the thick forest with beautiful water falls all the way up to Mulkharkha and stop for lunch. After launch, trek about 3 to 4 hours along the tropical rain forest leads to Chisapani (2194 m) from where we possibly could see long range of snowcapped himalaya and beautifull view of landscape.

Day 2: As usual after breakfast than trek from Chisapani to Chauki Bhangyang about 4-5 hours. During the hiking that we are always with the opened view of the himalaya and landscape. Over night stay at this place to explore the local lives and their tradition which gives very much surprising by seeing those lives.

Day 3: After breakfast, explore the area till launch hour. After launch, very short walk to Nagarkot (2127m) one of the famous place in Asia. This spot provides an excellent view of the sunset and sunrise with east to west long and huge range of the high himalaya. Possibly mount Everest can be seen on a clear day.

Day 4: After breakfast, trek down to Changunarayan (world heritage site) takes 2-3 hours. Changunarayan is supposed to be the oldest temple of Kathmandu valley. launch break and there is two possibilities, either straight a way driving back to Kathmandu or on the way visit Bhaktapur darbar squire (the ondest city of Kathmandu valley) and drive continue to Kathmandu. The trip is over after checking in to your hotel in Kathmandu.
