Trip Overview

We have designed this itinerary for those people who does have short time and seeking to see the CROWN OF THE WORLD Mt. EVEREST. Within 5 to 6 days trek we could full fill the keen interests to explore the top of the world Everest including many others high himalayas Mt. Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Cho Oyo etc. But we would like to recomend to go up to Syangboche and stay there at least one night in Everest view Hotel for the full of Everest right in front of your eyes from your bed. This is one of the deluxe and world highest hotel in the himalayas, Probably one of the haven in the earth. The trek begins from Lukla after 40 minutes scenic flights from Kathmandu.

Trip Details

Day: 01. Kathmandu to Phakding: (2600m.) Following a 35 minute flight to Lukla we then walk to Phakding for approximately 3 hrs. The trail descends steadily through the bank of the Dudh Kosi river, Sherpa villages and Mani stones to end in Phakding. Day: 02.. Phakding to Namche Bazaar: (3442m.) Trek continues for 5 Hrs. The trail ascends gradually toward Jorsalle entrance gate of the National park, through the Alpine and rhododendron jungle. Our journey for the day ends at Namche Bazaar. Day: 03. Namchebazar Take a rest for the day at Namchebazaar to acclimatize and take an excursion around the area. Day: 04. Namche Bazaar to Tengboche: (3865m.) We take approximately one hour to cross the plain field and then descend to Dud Kosi River. Following a lunchbreak at Fungithanga the trail steeply ascends toward Tengboche. Through the same type of jungle as before we may see different kinds of birds, animals and a beautiful view of Numbur (6963m.), Khantang (6857m.) and Kwangde (6187m.). Day: 05. Tengboche to Namche Bazaar A short and pleasant walk to Namche Bazaar through the same trail and scenery. Day: 06. Namche Bazaar to Lukla A long last day's walk to Lukla on the same trail and the beautiful scenery of Dhud Kosi river and the Sherpa villages. Day: 07. Lukla to Kathmandu A pleasant flight by small twin otter or Helicopter, which allows for the opportunity to see many beautiful villages high in the mountains and an exquisite taste of the Himalayan range.
