Upper Ganesh Himal Trekking 14 Days

Upper Ganesh Himal Trekking
Trip Overview

Ganesh Himal is named after the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune. The Ganesh Himal can clearly be seen from Kathmandu Valley. The Ganesh Range peaks, Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IV, Paldor and Childor including the World 7th Highest Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) and Langtang stand out like crystal and is the "Great Himalayan Chain" that dominates the skyline. Culturally and naturally this is an un-spoiled area, away from tourists. At the end of the trek is possible to see different traditions including the Tamang tradition which appears unchanged since the 18th century. The valley is set ablaze by the blossom of double Jasmine; the forest is dense with Spanish oak, blue pine and, in spring time, the blossoming of rhododendron sets the whole forest alight in a spectacular array of colors. Hot spas, gorges, glaciers and magnificent scenery complete the picture. This is highly recommended to people who want an authentic experience of Nepal.
